Are You Ready to Change?

Wishing, praying and hoping for your circumstances to change  won’t change anything. Worrying about what may or may not happen doesn’t change anything either. People who improve their life circumstances have one thing in common.

They make their circumstances improve or choose a different attitude to what is occurring around them. One of the best ways to do this is to ACT. When you improve yourself, you improve your circumstances. What a sweeping statement! But what do I mean by it?

Do SOMETHING today to improve your circumstances. Take action to change your life. It really is this simple. Sitting on the couch complaining about the illnesses you have will not improve your health. Spending more money than you earn will not improve your financial situation. Yelling at your children or your partner will not improve your relationships with people you love. Complaining continuously about your life will not make your problems go away.

James Allen has a great quote regarding this: “Men are anxious to improve their circumstances, but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound.”

Every one of us have situations to face. It is up to us to change ourselves to make the best out of those situations. By being willing to change and improve, we enable ourselves to cut the ropes that bind us to our miseries. It is your choice.

I can’t but agree. I wish for better things all the time, but don’t really do anything about it.Today after reading your article, I made a phone call I had been putting off. I felt so good afterward. Now for a few more things.

I wished my last few years away by not doing something to bring about the change I needed.

This is slowly starting to change – each day is better and it’s all through my own actions

You know a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a fresh spin on a subject which has been discussed for many years. Wonderful stuff, just great!

I am glad you don’t want to argue with me Charli :). Seriously though, I don’t mind if people have different opinions to me – that’s how we can all learn
